Step One (pre-work) – assign different members of your group to collect or purchase different categories of books (fiction/non-fiction/picture books/easy readers of different levels/chapter books/ books in Spanish/ books in English & Spanish, etc.).

Step Two – set a date for folks to bring their donations in and make it a party!

Step Three – one of the events at the party is an assembly project.  You may want to personalize the books in some way – maybe put an encouraging note in each book or make and decorate bookmarks.

Step Four – Set up a delivery day and time.  You may contact one of the Site Coordinators directly via email (addresses are on this website) or you can email CIS Program Director, Wendy Lively.

Step Five – make the delivery and meet a CIS staff member!
