Bellwood Elementary third- and fifth-grade students played Capture the Flag with members of the local Police Athletic League and professional athletes. This event was sponsored by Communities In Schools of Chesterfield and the Chesterfield Police Athletic League. The goal of the event was to not only incorporate community members, professional athletes and local law enforcement into our students’ lives, but to encourage teamwork and a positive school culture. 

The day was a great success thanks to CIS of Chesterfield site coordinator Elizabeth Stowers, the Chesterfield Police Athletic League, the numerous professional athletes in attendance, Bellwood staff, and of course the stellar students!
