Graduation from high school is a big deal! It is the culmination of a long, and sometimes challenging process. As each graduate individually crosses the stage.. they are, metaphorically speaking, surrounded by: their teachers, their parents/guardians, their extended families, community & school volunteers, and so many more people that invested in their lives and believed in them.
Communities In Schools (CIS) of Chesterfield is proud to be a part of the life story of Chesterfield County Schools students at each of the schools we serve, and we are especially proud of the graduates from the Carver College and Career Academy. This year, 72 Carver Academy students graduated with a diploma and an additional 40 students received the GED certificates. This year, Carver students earned 186 industry certifications and 49 seniors earned the Governor’s CTE Seal on their diplomas (over 60% of graduates)!
