Communities In Schools of Chesterfield is celebrating 30 years of serving Chesterfield students and we invite you to come play with us! Whether it was Monopoly or Kick the Can, we all had fun playing games as kids. The students we serve also love to play games! Better yet, games aren’t just for fun – research indicates that play helps regulate emotions, increases motivation to learn and participate in class, and stimulates creative thinking and exploration.

To celebrate 30 years of fostering equity in education, and having fun while we do it, we are throwing a big party! Join us for an elevated version of Game Night to enjoy some fun competition and celebrate CIS. What better way to honor our history, acknowledge our accomplishments, and escalate excitement for what lies ahead!

Our Family Movie Night in Celebration of our 30th was a success! On February 1st, CIS students across Chesterfield joined us for pizza, crafts, giveaways, and, most importantly, a showing of Super Mario Bros., complete with Spanish subtitles. Family engagement is a crucial part of our work as the health and wellness of our families directly affects that of our students and leads to stronger academic outcomes. Communities In Schools of Chesterfield is committed to providing programs and opportunities to bring families together to connect them with resources and fun while strengthening the school community.
