What “showing up” means to me: Showing up to me means maintaining an open door policy for all students who need a space to be themselves, and always addressing students with kindness and empathy.

My favorite part of the school day: My favorite part of the school day is when I have informal conversations with students. They always set a positive tone for the day.

What showing up means to me: It means being fully present, listening carefully and creating a space where everyone feels safe and welcomed.
